Karahi Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken
- 1 Onion
- 1 Tomato
- 2 Green Chilies
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt (as per taste)
- Fresh Coriander (for garnishing)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi and add sliced onion. Cook until onion is light golden in color.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add chopped tomato and green chilies. Cook until tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and
salt. Mix well.
- Add chicken and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the chicken. Mix well and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
